The lot features a collection of genuine natural Star Sapphire Parcel having a total weight of 40.00 carats. The Star Sapphire is a highly collectible and rare type of sapphire that exhibits a star-like phenomenon known as asterism. Star Sapphires contain intersecting needle-like inclusions following the underlying crystal structure that causes the appearance of a six-rayed "star"-shaped pattern when viewed with a single overhead light source. The stones show a dark blue natural coloring with mostly complete six ray stars. The double ray diffraction stones are all in a polished finished cabochon form and comes with a COA Gemology Report and appraisal from Westfield Jewelry Appraisers. The appraisal confirms the above info and gives a value of $1,980.00.
