For your consideration is a collection of 55.5 carats of unmounted and faceted prasiolite gemstones. This collection includes 22 stones, all varying in size, and cut. The collection shows professionally cut oval, trillion, round, and cushion shapes. The entire collection shows good condition. Prasiolite (also known as green quartz, green amethyst or vermarine) is a green variety of quartz, a silicate mineral chemically silicon dioxide. It is a rare stone in nature; artificially produced prasiolite is heat treated amethyst. This beautiful collection of prasiolite has an expertly cut cushion shape stone measuring 8.14 x 8.02 x 5.09mm weighing approximately 2 cts. There are five round shape cut stones measuring 8.90 x 6.34mm; 8.90 x 6.57mm; 9.05 x 5.80mm; 6.90 x 4.24mm; 6.88 x 4.52mm weighing approximately 10.5 cts in total. The are nine trillion shape cut stones measuring 10.07 x 6.06mm; 6.97 x 4.71mm; 7.91 x 5.01mm; 7.85 x 4.35mm; 7.03 x 5.49mm; 5.86 x 4.18mm; 6.21 x 4.40mm; 7.04 x 4.58mm; 6.75 x 4.55mm weighing approximately 12 cts in total. Finally, in this collection are eight oval cut shaped prasiolite stones 13.95 x 9.93 x 7.18mm; 12.17 x 10.10 x 6.31mm; 14.01 x 10.03 x 5.97mm; 11.12 x 9.12 x 5.96mm; 10.03 x 7.92 x 6.45mm; 11.04 x 9.07 x 6.17mm; 11.07 x 9.07 x 5.88mm; 11.03 x 8.88 x 5.87mm weighing approximately 31cts in total.
