One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast and assembled tanzanite and diamond pendant with chain. Condition is new, good workmanship. The pendant features a triangular shape tanzanite set within multiple diamond bezel iterations, the reverse side of the pendant features an elaborate white gold lattice, supported by a diamond set bail, completed with an eighteen inch length one millimeter wide designer style chain. Trademark is RT. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set triangle brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 12.30 x 12.90 x 7.40mm, approximate weight of 6.51 ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, dark, moderately strong, blue color, (GIA B 7/4) to medium dark, slightly grayish, bluish purple, (GIA bP 6/2), cut is good. Tiffany and Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, and green. It is interesting because of the exceptional pleochroism. Rotated, a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, do not use this cleaning method.
