Featured in this collection of coins found in 6th & Fremont, Tombstone, Arizona Territory Chinese and Mexican coins circa 1880's and were interred in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum, Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The coins collected include four 19th century Chinese coins and one 5 Centavos Republica Mexicana silver dime. The Chinese coins feature differing character adorning the face of the coins with a square cut out of the center. The Mexican 5 Centavos shows a silver sheen with little color play is is dated 1888. This collection comes complete with original museum tags that read as follows: Chinese Coin found near 6th & Fremont - dug in Tombstone. The condition of this collection of foreign coins is preserved with erosion and patina consistent with age and excavation but shows a preserved overall condition. The collective weight of this collection of 12.2g.
