Offered in this lot is an A. B. Frost chromolithograph by Scribner Sons, titled "We've Got Him" and originating from 1903. Arthur Burdett Frost (1851-1928) was an American graphic artist, illustrator, painter, and comics writer. He was known for his dynamic motion and sequence in his works. The lithograph depicts an older man and young boy celebrating in a snow covered field after hunting a rabbit. The piece is signed in the bottom left-hand corner, reading "A. B. Frost - Copyright 1903 Charles Scribners Sons, N.Y." with "We've Got Him" at the center and "A. Grignard & Company. N.Y." on the right side. The art is set into a professional gilt gold frame with a white border around the lithograph. This incredible work of art chromolithograph was produced and sold during the lifetime of A. B. Frost. It shows good condition overall, with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 16" wide by 21" tall with the art measuring 10 3/4 wide by 15 1/2" tall.
