Featured in this lot, is a three (3) volume set of "A History of Montana" by Helen Fitzgereald Sanders published by The Lewis Publishing Company in 1913. Each volume is beautifully bound in genuine leather. As a set, these books provide a comprehensive history of Montana beginning with its exploration by Lewis and Clark in the early 1800's all the way to becoming a state in 1889 and young history into the 1900's. The books include varying topics such as government, vigilantes, mining, climate, geology, Native Americans, and more. Volume II signed in fountain pen with a name and Kalispell, 1927. The covers are rough but the bindings, hinges, and interiors are in good shape. Each one measures 10.75 " x 8.25 ".
