For your consideration is this framed, hand colored etching done by Alexander Liebmann (1871-1938) titled, "Quiet Morning" circa early 1900s. This artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted hand colored etching construction that shows a alleyway with a clock tower in the distance and shows women washing their clothes on the street. Alexander Liebmann (1870-1942) was a German painter known for his landscapes and portraits. He was part of the Berlin Secession, a group of progressive artists in Germany who broke away from the traditional art institutions to promote modern art. The condition of this hand colored etching is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this hand colored etching is 27" x 13" and the visible artwork measures 20 1/2" x 6 1/4".
