Featured in this lot is this butterfly seed pottery vessel from Acoma Pueblo artist Carmen Glez from the Mata Ortiz potters. The pot features a iconic seed pot construction with a plethora of butterfly's and birds painted into the outside wall of the seed pot and shows a field of red speckling as its background. The artist signature can be seen on the bottom of the pottery vessel. The condition of this seed pot is pristine and in good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this pottery vessel are 3 3/4" x 4" x 4".
