Featured in this lot is this pair of cutlery from Sheffield and from the Adolf E. Hartman Jewelry Estate circa 19th century and was housed in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This is a beautiful pair of Sheffield cutlery circa 19th century with their original box and showcases a brilliant clip point carving knife and carving fork with stag horn handles and the knife is marked as follows: Alfred Williams - Rivington Works - Sheffield, England. The original box housing this pair of cutlery is marked as follows: Celebrated - Table Cutlery - Manufactured by Alfred Williams - Rivington Works - Sheffield - England - 1Pr No. 629. The cutlery comes complete with an original museum tag that reads as follows: Adolf E. Hartman was a prominent jeweler in Tombstone in the 1880's. He was from Prussia. The condition of this pair of Sheffield Cutlery is well preserved with some slight patina adorning the stainless steel and the staghorn handles but otherwise shows a well preserved condition; the original box for the cutlery shows significant wear and browning tot he label but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of the knife is 13 5/8" x 1 1/2" x 7/8" and the carving fork measures 10 1/8" x 1 1/2" x 7/8". The collective weight of the cutlery inside the original box is 8oz.
