For your consideration is this Adolph Biancani bone and steel pistol hackamore circa 1885-1963. This old hackamore is marked with Adolph Biancani hallmark of "AB." Biancani was an Italian immigrant who came to the US in 1898 at age 13. He eventually moved to Elko and became a US citizen. He worked in G.S. Garcia’s shop and only 1 known example exists of a bit which features the Garcia marks as well as an “AB” stamp. His later work when he ran his own business would feature an “AB” mark inside the cheek of a bit. The condition of this hackamore is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows its age with oxidation adorning the pistols. The measurements of this hackamore are 11" x 8 1/2".
