This is an excellent Mid-Century Modern sofa by Kroehler in the iconic Adrian Pearsall design and pattern. Adrian Pearsall (1925-2011) was an American architect and iconic furniture designer. Pearsall founded Craft Associates in Pennsylvania in 1952 creating his own designs and ultimately putting his vision of style and design across the entire industry with other designers and manufactures attempting his artistry. This sofa or couch has the original Kroehler tag and is in the original upholstery which just screams Mid-Century Modern. Kroehler was known for using the highest grade upholstery and was the second-largest furniture producers in the U.S. during the 1940’s. The sofa has four original solid wood legs which appear to be Maple wood. The sofa is a survivor with signs of use but overall well kept for its early age. The corners have fraying and slight tears but overall well preserved and no major damages beyond corner and wear. Measurements 88"L x 32.5"W x 29"H.
