The necklace is made of glass artisan trade beads originating from Czechoslovakia and used for trading in Mali Africa. The beads are made of blown glass and show a wide array of colors and striping. The necklace shows sixty-nine raindrop-like beads, with two triangular beads and nine flat curved beads in the center. This type of necklace was most commonly used for the bride to wear on the wedding day. The necklace shows good condition overall, with some wear across the beads.
