Featured in this lot is this African stone carved rhino sculpture from the 20th century. This large sculpture was meticulously hand carved showing a rhino moving through fallen trees and he continues on his journey. The sculpture shows great attention to detail throughout including textured ground and trees, textured skin creases on the rhinos face and smooth stone for the rhinos body. No makers mark is present on the sculpture. It shows good condition overall with wear slight wear present from its age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. Small cracks noted in some areas. It measures 10" L x 16 1/2" W x 9 1/2" H and weighs 20 pounds and 6 ounces.
