Featured in this lot is this after Frederic Remington (1861 - 1909) wooly chaps bronze. Frederic Remington is hands-down the most recognizable Western artist in history. The sculpture shows good detail and proportioning. The cowboy shows great expression and is adorned in typical garb, including the wooly chaps that the sculpture is titled after. This bronze is attributed to Frederic Remington and is an afterlife lost wax casting. The condition of this after bronze is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bronze sculpture are 11" x 5" x 8 1/2".
