Featured in this lot is an after Frederic Sackrider Remington (born in 1861 and died in 1909) bronze sculpture titled: Buffalo Signal. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze on marble construction that shows a native man holding a hide in the air to send a signal to his comrades. The bronze and base is marked as follows: Frederic Remington - Buffalo Signal. The condition of this bronze is well preserved with some of the bronze wash showing not as slick but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this bronze are 13 3/4" x 8 1/4" x 3 1/4". The collective weight of this bronze is 4lb 2oz.*
