This is a stunning 4 ¼" Agate Basin Lanceolate point from the Transitional Paleo period 13,000-8,000 B.P.; from the ex-Jacques Andre Cronier (1956-2019) collection, ex-Setdart Auction Barcelona, Spain, ex-collection Chateau de Meziers le Clery, France. The point appears to be Hixton Quartz and is in impressive form with nice translucents and fine condition. Has an old collection provenance label marked, “Orion County”. Provenance: Ex-Setdart Auctions Barcelona, Spain lot 35331510, April 26, 2023 from the prehistoric collection of Jacques Andre Cronier (1956-2019), ex-collection Chateau de Meziers le Clery, France. Noted by Setdart as 13000-1000 B.C. Arrowheads of Native American Indian peoples, America. Comes with paperwork print out from Setdart. Measures overall 4.25-inches long.
