The book provides an early account of the discovery of gold and ensuing population booms that followed. The book features a fantastic illustrated cover and spine, with numerous illustrations throughout. The book has the original fold out map near the front, as well. The book is in good condition overall, with some wear due to age. The book measures 8 1/4" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
