Featured in this lot is this Alaskan Dall sheep professional taxidermy skull. The skull shows bone white coloration and dried out ram horns. Dall sheep (Ovis dalli) are one of two species of all-white, hoofed large mammals found in Alaska. They are stocky, with amber horns, yellow eyes, and black noses and feet. The condition of this Dall sheep skull is good, with the right eye socket slightly cracked and a couple of missing teeth to the upper jaw; the horn examples show half length. The measurements of this Dall sheep skull are 8 1/4" x 16 3/4" x 14".
