Featured in this lot is this Alaskan Kodiak Brown Bear hide rug taxidermy. The rug shows a double felt fringe, and shows the bear hid in wonderful soft condition with its mouth staged open and all the massive claws shown on each paw. The hide shows wonderful light to medium coloring. From a Montana estate, said to have been taken in the 1960-1970. The condition of this taxidermy hide is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition with the tongue sitting free inside the mouth. The measurements of this hide are 71" x 69". Truly an excellent large trophy rug.
