Featured in this lot is this pair of aluminum Leyse and unmarked stainless steel milk jugs circa 20th century and a Farm Master dairy scale. There are two milk jugs in this collection. The first is the larger of the two and is a 4qt milk jug constructed from aluminum and is marked on the bottom as follows: A Leyse Product 4 QTs Made in U.S.A. The second is an unmarked clearly older 2QT milk jug constructed from stainless steel. The dairy scale is a hanging design that weighs the content of milk jug and is marked as follows: Farm Master Dairy Scale - Farmers Milk Scale Not Legal for Trade sold by Sears, Roebuck and Co. The condition of this pair of aluminum and steel milk jugs is well preserved with some minor wear to the outside due to age and use but otherwise shows a well preserved condition and the scale shows minor wear but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of this collection is 10 7/8" x 5 7/8" x 6" and 8 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 5 1/2". The collective weight of this pair of milk jugs is 1lb 14oz.
