This is an original Navajo / Dine Alvin Joe kachina dancer sterling silver bolo tie set with Cripple Creek Turquoise. The piece is signed AJ Sterling and shows an owl kachina / katsina dancer. The piece has a nice large size with outspread feather wings, beak fance, crown of three oblong oval polished cabochons of Cripple Creek Turquoise a feathered cape and another Cripple Creek Turquoise stone on the front. The bottom has two bolo tie cone tips with concho ball ends on a braided leather strand. The bolo by itself is 3.25" by 2 5/8", the strand is approx. 22"L from the back of the strand to the end of both tips (about 44" along the strand). Total weight of 46.6 grams.
