For your consideration in this lot is an amazing collection of Haynes photographs and ephemera. The collection includes Haynes Guide (book) Yellowstone National Park (7 1/2" x 5"), two small black and white photographs (4 3/4" x 3 3/4"), three medium color tinted photographs (7 1/8" x 3 5/8"), one color postcard (1941 used 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"), four large black and white photographs (2-10" x 8" 11" x 7", 14" x 11"), an original Haynes Envelope (9 1/2" x 4"), a matted display of two Haynes seals (8 3/4" x 5"), and a copper stamped coin of Yellowstone National Park 75th anniversary (1 1/4" across). The coin shows Old Faithful on one side and Yellowstone National Park 1872-1947 Diamond 75th Anniversary on the other side. The matted Haynes seals show one gold and black foil seal 1 1/4" across with Old Faithful on it and the other, an orange and black seal of Haynes Picture Shops with the Minnesota address and a drawing of tower falls. The envelope has a drawing of Old Faithful. The largest black and white photo is of Sylvan Lake and Top Notch Peak. The next three photos are of The Great Falls, The Petrified Tree, and Daisy Geyser. The post card is of Old Faithful Geyser. The postmark date on this is from 1941. The first of the color photos is of South Dome in Yosemite Valley, the next is of Mato's Teepee and Devils Tower, and the last one is of the Golden Gate in Yellowstone National Park. The two small black and white photographs are of Mount Haynes, Madison Canyon Yellowstone National Park, and Lewis Fall, Lewis River, Yellowstone National Park. The Haynes Guide Yellowstone National Park (Book) has 170 pages and a large fold-out map. All the items in this lot are in good condition.
