This is an outstanding squash blossom necklace with sterling silver, handmade construction set with Sleeping Beauty Turquoise by master Navajo Native American Indian silversmith, Leon Kirley. The piece shows a fine sterling silver squash Naja pendant with double row and rope center, set with three oval polished cabochons of Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise. The Naja is set on a double strand of handmade sterling silver concho pearl beads, which are further accented by fourteen blossom beads, each set with a beautiful gem quality polished cabochon of Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise. This is a truly fine squash blossom with fine construction by silversmith Leon Kirley, a master and highly collected maker. The piece is signed “LFR Sterling” and the top rolled sterling silver cone at the clasp is marked the same. Each pearl concho is handmade and the entire necklace has an amazing antique finish, all being strung on a handmade sterling silver link chain. The necklace measures overall 26.5 inches in length from end to end (otherwise referred to as circumference), with a squash Naja pendant that measures 2.25 by 2.25 inches.
