The first book is "The lost field notes of Franklin R. Johnston's life and work among the American Indians". The second book is titled "The Cheyenne Indians Their History and Lifeways" by George Bird Grinnell. The third piece is "Western Apache Material Culture The Goodwin and Guenther Collections" edited by Alan Ferg. The fourth book is titled "A Warrior I Have Been Plains Indian Cultures in Transition" by Richard Green. The fifth book is "Ledger Art of the Crow and Gros Venture Indians: 1879-1897" by C. Adrian Heidenreich. With the final book titled "Art of the American Indian Frontier A Portfolio" by the Detroit Institute of Arts. The collection shows good condition overall with little to no wear. The largest book measures 12 1/2" tall by 9 3/8" wide.
