Included in this lot is a beautiful Native American Indian hand hewn wooden bowl with Copper and Turquoise accents. This bowl is hand hewn from one solid piece of wood. The ruff marks of the making of this bowl are still on the outside of the bowl. The inside of this bowl has been smoothed to a soft finish. On the lip of the bowl is a copper bird fetish with a red stone eye and a feather carved of bone. On the inside of the bowl are five pieces of copper showing polish and green patina. On the other side of the bowl is a string of tiny copper beads fitted into and on a growth ring of the natural wood with a small nugget of copper. This one of a kind piece has rich wood tones and the natural wood has a beautiful smooth sheen. The tree used to make this bowl was very old, as is evident with the rings. The bowl is slightly oval and measures 19 1/2" x17 1/2” across, 7 1/2" to 7 3/4" tall x 12" thick walls.
