This is an amethyst crystal geode formation with wooden base. The piece shows crystals with fantastic, rich color. The back of the geode is cut and smoothed. The amethyst sits on a custom made wooden stand. The stand is cut to the shape of the geode, so it sits into the stand. The geode and stand are in good condition. The geode measures 4 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" wide and on the stand is 5 1/2" tall.
