Featured in this lot is this Amos corner notch point aged from the Early Archaic period and from 10,000 - 7,000 B.P. The point is a medium triangular corner notched point with an elliptical cross section with a straight serrated blade with a needle like tip. The tip is featured off center and shows deep corner notches with rounded shoulders and a base that is convex and is knapped from a greenish brown flint material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 3 7/8" x 1 1/2" x 3/8". This point was taken in from Henderson County Kentucky.
