Featured in this lot is an ancient Greek glazed olive oil urn pot or Amphora. The olive oil urn shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted Terracotta or ceramic construction. The urn shows a typical "orcio" cruse that shows a glazed top section that graduates to a ribbed design coming down the urn and shows a rounded bottom. The condition of this olive oil urn is well preserved for its age with sediment still adorning the urn from its previous dwelling place but otherwise shows well preserved condition. The measurements of this olive oil urn is 12 1/2" x 8" x 8". The collective weight of this urn is approximately 8lbs.*
