Included in this lot for your consideration is an ancient wooly mammoth scrimshaw tusk. The tusk is fossilized, and sits on a rosewood base. The scrimshaw art work depicts a sailing ship, and shows very fine detail in craftsmanship. Overall, the piece shows very good condition. The piece measures3 3/8" tall, and 1 1/2" wide and deep.
