This is an ancient wooly mammoth ivory tusk scrimshaw. The piece features a scrimshaw sailing ship and whale image showing fine detail. The back of the piece has been signed by the artist "Mike Scott / Alaska". The ancient wooly mammoth scrimshaw is in good condition. It measures 2.25" wide and is 6.25" tall.
