Featured in this lot is this Ansonia Brass Company "Seated Scholar" circa 1900 - 1930's. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted brass construction that shows the likeness of a scholar seated on a chair facing into the distance by the Ansonia Brass Company who was active creating brassworks from 1851 - 2006. Most of these were created from the late 19th century and into the early 1900's. The condition of this of this brass sculpture is good with a small patina to the brass but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this brass sculpture is 7" x 6 1/4" x 3". The collective weight of this brass sculpture is 2lb 8oz.
