This has a glass and solid wood shadow box (very nice quality) with a Antelope skull with Native American Style art work. The story is that this is the Antelope Spirit of the Anasazi. In a time long ago in the Canyon de Chelly we left our homes and possessions behind. The shards of our pottery have entered my being and I am here to remind you that we once were a great nations. The word Anaasází is Navajo for "Ancient Ones" or "Ancient Enemy". This shards are ancient Pueblo Native American pottery pieces from circa 12th century to 18th century. This is a wonderful work of art and also shows three modern authentic Jemez and Navajo weavings and pots. The shadow box measures 13.75"x17.75" and 12.5" tall. This piece is signed on the bottom by artist Carol Chambers.
