Included in this lot is an antique black powder percussion buffalo rifle. This percussion rifle features a 31 1/2" long octagonal barrel. This muzzle loading rifle operates from a percussion hammer and metal ram rod. The rifle is equipped with a sturdy walnut hardwood stock, showing a dark coloration due to age. The metal of the side lock, crescent butt plate, and hammer show a dark gray patina. The hammer locks back and the trigger releases the hammer as intended. The barrel shows some rust and light pitting. The firearm has not been tested. No Serial Number. Black powder firearms do not require a FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
