For your consideration is an Eight Day Arthur Pequegnat Hanging Clock. Arthur Pequegnat is notable as the longest lasting Canadian-based clock manufacturer. One of the aspects that interests collectors is the high number of variants. The company would start a run with one style of trim but then would complete the run with a different style, so that it is not uncommon to find a unique sample that no one else has. This Pequegnat clock is trimmed in the favored quarter-sawn white oak with glass and has a spring driven brass movement. The clock has a tin dial face that features roman numeral denominations for the hours and minutes, and also has the rare 31 day movement. The clock is untested due to the pendulum being detached. Clock comes with the key. Clock measures 26.5" x 16" x 4.5".
