Presesnted in this lot is a Vintage Industrial Single Stack Tiger Oak 3-Drawer Flat File Cabinet, circa 1915-1930. The file cabinet features a wonderfully and professionally crafted oak construction displaying two deep upper drawers and one lower shallow wide drawer. Traditional industrial style with paneled sides, original patinated iron drawer pulls. Drawers have finger holes to push up drawings and not damage corners. Crafted of quarter-sawn oak, this coffee table was originally a map chest, collector cabinet, or drawing and print file. Industrial antique furniture, often called vintage industrial or industrial chic, is a design style that features raw, utilitarian furniture originally crafted for 19th- and early 20th-century factories, warehouses, and workshops. The style celebrates the unrefined beauty of functional design, focusing on durability and honest materials over ornamentation.
