For your consideration is this late 18th century to early 20th century architectural bird cage. The wire and pressed steel bird cage is rectangular shaped with a round aviary top. It has a pull-out drawer on the bottom and two wire holders for drink and food that can swing out on doors for easy access. On each side of the cage is a wire flower design; in the center front of the cage is a large curved top door. The top 15.5" of the cage is the decorative pressed steel with a floral design on all sides. Stamped into the front in very small letters is, "Mexico" The cage measures about 29" w x 61.5" t x 18.5" deep. The cage is in good overall condition, but is missing the latch for the door.
