Featured in this lot is an Antique Newport Sterling Silver Wood Jewelry Box. The lid is made with Newport Sterling Silver and is marked "NEWPORT STERLING 1629". The silver is plated on top of the wood lid to give it a smooth, elegant finish. The box itself is a rich brown wood color with rounded edges. It is in good condition for age and measures 5" x 4" x 1.75".
