Featured in this lot is this Antique Plains Indians beaded medicine bag with smaller bags. This medicine bag features a wonderfully and professionally crafted Indian tanned hide construction with trade seed bead decoration with colors such as yellow, chalk white, dark blue and medium red. The bag shows a fringe on both ends of the bag and shows smaller bags filled with crushed up herbs. The condition of this medicine bag is fair with some wear to the beaded sections and shows wear to the outside of the large medicine bad and to the outside of the small medicine bags inside the larger one. The measurements of this bag are 23" x 7" x 12".
