Featured in this lot we have a antique portable gold scale with wooden carry case. The scale is constructed of brass, including a thread-able stand, fulcrum, two pans/hangers, and seven large counter weights and six smaller weights. The carry case is made of light wood with a purple velvet inner lining. The portable scale originated from the early 20th century and shows good condition overall.
