Featured in this lot is this antique sterling silver amethyst costume jewelry circa 1940's. There is one ring, four pairs of earrings, and two bracelets in this collection. The first piece of jewelry is an antique sterling silver ring with a round amethyst gemstone set into the ring face with a filigree scalloped border. The next piece is a pair of sterling silver earrings with a tear drop shaped moonstone that reflects the bottom of the small amethyst gemstone set into the earring aglet. The next set of earrings is a pair of sterling silver dangle earrings with multiple gemstones set into the face including the following: amber, amethyst, and moonstone; and is marked on the back as follows: .925 - and an unrecognizable hallmark. The next set of earrings is constructed from sterling silver and shows two oval cut amethyst gemstones set into each earrings and is marked on the back as follows: Acleoni. The next set of earrings is a sterling silver pair of dangle earrings with oval cut amethyst gemstone set into the face of the earrings and are marked '.925' on the backside of the earrings. The first bracelet features a sterling silver link design with round brilliant cut amethyst gemstones set into the links and is marked as follows: .925 - China. The last bracelet features a sterling silver link design with a twisted rope border to the gemstones and features 7 oval cut amethyst gemstones set into the links. The condition of this collection of costume jewelry is well preserved with some patina to the sterling silver consistent with age but otherwise shows a well preserved condition.
