The lot features an old rawhide leather sewn sheath adorned with beadwork and paired with an old Elk hone handled bowie like trade knife attributed to the Arapaho Native American Indians of the early 1900’s. The sheath is comprised of old rawhide leather sewn with thread and old hide glue adorned with a geometric crude pattern using glass trade pony beads in colors of corn yellow, medium green, chalk white, red and blue. The top shows a leather tie belt strap attached. The knife has a clip point bowie pattern blade with metal hilt and Rocky Mountain Elk bone grip scales being held on with pins. The knife measures 9 ¼ inches in length and the sheath is 8 inches long by 2 ½ inches wide.
