Featured in this lot we have a sporterized Arisaka Type 99 bolt action rifle chambered in 7.6 mm. This rifle was manufactured from 1939 to 1945 by Arisaka. The rifle features a 23" long round barrel, walnut stock, adjustable rear sight, bolt action, and blue'd finish. The top of the frame is marked with the Japanese Imperial seal with "Kyu-Kyu- Shiki" in Japanese below it. The side of the frame is marked with the serial number and manufacture stamps. The rifle has been sporterized making the rifle more fit for civilian use and swapping out the original stock. The firearm shows good condition overall with some light wear due to age, and functional mechanics. Serial Number: 92057. This is a modern firearm and requires a FFL transfer or NICS background check.
