There are a total of 13 pins in this collection that shows a traditional design of the Native American water bird symbolism with multiple styles of construction ranging from a raised characiture, dangle pin, and stationary styles. The Water Bird is a symbol of the renewal of life, rainy seasons, rivers, distant travel, distant vision & wisdom. The artist hallmark can be seen on the backside of the pins. The condition of this collection of pins is good with one of the pins showing one of the stones missing but otherwise in good overall condition. The measurements of these pins range from 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" to 4 1/8" x 1 7/8".
