Featured in this lot is this art deco blue sapphire and diamond, platinum ring with GIA and AIG paperwork. This ring shows an electronically tested platinum ladies’ cast ring band with an elaborate lattice under gallery, bright polish finish, miligrain detailing, and the 'Orianne' trademark and 'PT950' stamp. The center stone is a bezel set emerald cut diamond with a weight of 1.02 carats, clarity of SI-2, and a color gradient of F. The center stone is decorated with 18 channel set rectangular step cut natural blue sapphires with a total weight of 1.86 carats, slightly included clarity, and considered type II with dark moderately strong blue color. The ring face is accentuated with 44 total prong set round cut brilliant diamonds with a total weight of 0.29 carats, clarity of VS-2 to I-1, and a color gradient of F - G. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721018001) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $17,220.00. The measurements of this ring are 1" x 7/8" x 3/4". The ring size is US 7.
