Featured in this lot is this set of California pattern spurs decorated with five graduated silver mounted spots, dating to the early 1900’s. The set is attributed to August Buermann and is unmarked, showing a one-piece California pattern with drop shank holding a ten-point rowel and rear facing spur. The spur is also adorned with five three-dimensional rounded silver mounted spots in a graduated pattern, with the center being the largest example. The spurs have a stationary stud with blue’d finish and swivel link chains. The condition of these spurs is good; the spurs show oxidation and patina consistent with the age of the spurs. The measurements of these spurs are 6 1/4" x 4 1/4” x1 7/8".
