Offered in this slot we have a Australian L1A2 submachine gun bayonet with its original metal scabbard. The bayonet was manufactured between 1957 to 1984 by Small Arms Factory located in Lithgow NSW. The piece shows a fully metal construction and is unmarked. The bayonet is fitted to attach to the F1 submachine gun which was also produced by Small Arms Factory. The piece is in good condition overall with minor wear. The bayonet measures 11 1/2" long overall with a 7 5/8" blade.
