Featured in this lot is this collection of automobile, electrical, and steamboat cyclopedia books. There are five educational books in this collection. The first is a small pamphlet called “The Star Amateur Electrician”; the booklet expounds on the how and why of electricity for electricians. The second book is called “Gasoline Automobiles” by James Moyer, circa 1928; it provides an explanation of the inner workings of a gasoline automobile. The third is a seventh edition copy called “The Operation, Care, and Repair of Farm Machinery”, published by John Deere. The fourth book is called “TM9-2700” and is a Department of the Army “Technical Manual: Principles of Automotive Vehicles”, circa 1947. The last book is called “The Western Rivers: Steamboat Cyclopedium” by Alan L. Bates; it is an encyclopedia of steam boat knowledge. The condition of these books is good and readable, with some wear to the manuals consistent with age and use. The measurements range from 5 1/2" x 4 1/8" to 11" x 8 1/2".
