For sale in this lot we have a wood carved marble top end table from B. Altman & Co. The B. Altman & Company was a store chain founded in New York City in 1865. B. Altman & Co was known as a luxury department store. The table is carved with the likeness of a eagle grabbing a snake, with floral patterns carved underneath the snake. The top of the table is made of thick rojo alicante marble. The table also shows a company tag and is marked "B. Altman & Co. - New York". The table is in good condition, with a few spots where the polish has worn off. The table measures 24 1/2" tall by 26" wide by 14 1/2" deep.
