For your consideration is a framed original, limited edition intaglio print of “The Frenchtown Depot'' west of Missoula, Montana by Barbara Coppock, 1988. This piece is number 27/50 and shows a detailed miniature etching of the Frenchtown Depot, which was a Milwaukee Road railroad town. It shows the details of the depot’s wooden architecture, including the benches and a cart next to the building. The railroad tracks are shown out front of the depot. Barbara Coppock and her late husband, Bill, raised their family in Montana, where she would buck bales and tend the orchard by day and work on art by night while everyone was in bed. She currently works out of her Clarkston, WA studio. It shows the artist’s signature, title, and edition number below the etching, as well as the artist certificate of work on the back of the frame. This piece is framed in a beautiful wood frame measuring 7.5” x 8.5”; the visible art measures 3” x 4”.
