Featured in this lot we have an original framed pen & ink drawing by B. M. Bundy and dated 1900. B. M. Bundy was an American Artist active in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The piece shows a cowboy on horseback galloping to the side with his pistol raised in the air. The figure is shown sitting behind a bed roll in a loose fitting shirt with scarf and a dark cowboy hat on the head. He is shown holding a revolver in the air with the holster sitting on his other hip. The horse is depicted with all four feet off the ground as it runs through tall grass. The art is signed in the bottom right hand corner reading "BM Bundy -1900-". The piece shows wonderful attention to detail with a slightly caricatured art style. The art is set into a black wooden frame with a black border around the art. This piece had previously sold in 2004 for $3,500. The back of the frame is marked with a pencil reading "$3500 Parl 300 July 2004 B.M. Bundy -1900- Pin + Ink". The piece shows good condition overall with some minor wear across the frame. The frame measures 13 3/4" wide by 15 3/4" tall with the art measuring 9" wide by 10" tall
